Representative image
Light shone on the scalp to support follicles that are thinning but still alive, under a panel at our Rohini clinic or through a device at home. Trials show a small effect at most, after months of regular use, so your hair loss is diagnosed before any session or purchase.

About the treatment
Light of set wavelengths is directed at the scalp, either under a panel in the clinic or at home through a cap, helmet or comb. It goes by several names, including LED, red light and low-level laser therapy, and the aim is the same: to support follicles that are still producing hair. It does not break the skin, and most people tolerate it easily.
Some controlled trials report a small improvement in thinning hair, but many were small or short, and the devices tested differ so much that a result for one says little about another. The most it is likely to offer is less shedding and slightly stronger strands; it does not regrow a bald area. At DenceSpot it is planned and reviewed at the Rohini clinic.
A general pattern, not a promise of change.
| Period | What usually happens |
|---|---|
| Months one and two | Nothing visible; expected |
| Months two to three | Sessions start to slip |
| Month four onwards | A response can first be judged |
| If it helps | Use continues to keep it |
| If use stops | Benefit generally fades |
Why DenceSpot
Device advertising makes light therapy sound simpler than it is. At the Rohini clinic the order is fixed: a diagnosis, an honest view of the likely effect, then the choice of clinic or home.
Suitability
A follicle that has gone cannot be coaxed back by light. Under magnification the doctor can see whether yours are still producing hair, which settles most of the question.
Any history of skin cancer on the scalp, sensitivity to light and medicines that cause it. If low iron, a thyroid disorder or a hormonal problem is behind the shedding, that condition needs its own treatment; light does nothing for it. See thyroid and hair loss.
Where the scalp is smooth and the loss established, surgery is the realistic conversation: hair transplant in Delhi, if your donor area allows it.
Our doctors
Every case starts with an examination by a doctor. The doctor who will treat you at the Rohini clinic is named at your consultation, and you can ask for their qualifications, registration and experience with the technique planned for you.

Clinic or home
Either way, what matters most is the same: regular use for many months. They differ in where it happens, how easy it is to keep up and how it is paid for.
Light under a panel at the clinic, with no device to choose or buy. Practical mainly if you live or work within easy reach of North-West Delhi.
A cap, helmet or comb used on the schedule the device sets. Devices vary enormously in specification, coverage and price, and one that is awkward to use will sit unused.
How it works
Five stages, most of them about deciding whether light therapy deserves months of your time.
The cause and stage of your hair loss, reversible causes looked for, and the scalp examined under magnification.
Light sensitivity, photosensitising medicines and any history of skin cancer on the scalp reviewed.
Whether light suits your stage, clinic or home use, what goes alongside it, and baseline photographs.
Months of consistent sessions or device use, with your main treatment continuing.
Progress set against the baseline photographs over months, with adherence talked through frankly.
Background: how the Norwood scale describes stages of hair loss and telogen effluvium versus pattern hair loss.
Keeping it up
There is no wound and no recovery time, so the challenge is consistency rather than aftercare. Follow your device or session instructions where they differ from these general points.
Cost
No price is published. Clinic sessions and a home device are paid for in quite different ways, and either is a long-term commitment rather than a fixed course. The Rohini clinic sets out your plan and its cost in writing once you have been assessed.
Instalments through third-party lenders may be available; ask at the consultation, and work out the total over a year before you commit.
Reviews of DenceSpot’s Rohini clinic are on its Google Business Profile, unedited and in each reviewer’s own words. This page does not reproduce testimonials.
Book a consultation
Ask before you buy. At the Rohini clinic your scalp is examined, the stage of your hair loss is explained, and you hear plainly what light therapy could and could not do for you, and whether your money would count for more elsewhere.
The Rohini clinic replies during opening hours (Mon–Sun · 10:00 – 20:00).
