DenceSpot does not have a clinic in Defence Colony: patients from Defence Colony are seen at our clinic in Rohini, North-West Delhi. Laser hair removal there starts with an assessment of your skin and hair by a doctor and, usually, a patch test before the first full session.

Coming from Defence Colony
Defence Colony is a South Delhi residential area beside Lajpat Nagar, with its own well-known market. The assessment, the patch test and every session of the course take place at the Rohini clinic.
Take the Violet Line from Lajpat Nagar or Moolchand to Kashmere Gate, then the Red Line towards Rithala. Open the clinic on Google Maps for the route from your door.
Arrive with the area shaved and free of cream, deodorant or make-up. On the way back to Defence Colony, keep treated skin covered from the sun, and leave the gym, steam and hot baths for a day or two.
General patient-education ranges, not a schedule.

Planning your visits
An assessment and patch test, then a session every four to eight weeks over several months — all at the Rohini clinic. Metro stations near Defence Colony: Lajpat Nagar (Violet and Pink Lines), Moolchand (Violet Line) and South Extension (Pink Line).
Our doctors
Every laser course starts with an assessment of your skin and hair by a doctor. The doctor who will see you at the Rohini clinic is named at your consultation, and you can ask about their qualifications, registration and experience with laser on your skin type.

Skin type
Laser works because dark pigment in the hair absorbs its light, and the skin around each hair carries pigment too. On darker skin the settings are chosen more cautiously and a patch test usually comes first; grey, white, red and blonde hair has too little pigment to respond. How the settings are chosen.
Procedure
Five stages at the Rohini clinic, from the first visit to the occasional top-up.
Skin type, hair colour and thickness, medicines and any hormonal history looked at by a doctor.
A small spot treated at the planned settings and checked again a few days later.
The areas, a range of sessions, the gap between visits and what affects the cost.
Eye protection for everyone in the room, then overlapping pulses with cooling.
Shaving only between visits, sun care, and an occasional maintenance session later.
More in what the patch test checks on Indian skin and why laser reduces hair rather than removing it for good.
Cost
There is no fixed headline price. The cost follows the areas you want treated, how large they are and the number of sessions your skin and hair are likely to need. It is explained after your assessment, with the factors set out in your plan, before you commit to a course.
Book a consultation
Book a first visit at the Rohini clinic for a day that suits you — it is open Mon–Sun · 10:00 – 20:00. The doctor looks at your skin and hair, usually arranges a patch test and gives you a written plan for the course; nothing is booked on the day unless you choose to.
The Rohini clinic replies during opening hours (Mon–Sun · 10:00 – 20:00).
Suitability is decided after clinical assessment. This page is patient education and is not medical advice.
